Jan Ptacek Appointed as Vice President of Renault Light Commercial Vehicles
Jan Ptacek, currently serving as the CEO of Renault Group Türkiye, is set to take on a new and significant role within the Renault organization. He has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Renault LCV, a promotion that reflects his leadership capabilities and strategic vision. This appointment will officially take effect on July 1st, 2025, marking a new chapter in his career with Renault. In his capacity as Vice President of Renault LCV, Ptacek will be responsible for spearheading the global strategy related to Renault’s light commercial vehicle business. His leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future direction and growth of Renault's LCV offerings on a worldwide scale. This encompasses overseeing the development, marketing, and overall performance of Renault’s light commercial vehicle portfolio across various international markets.

Renault Group Türkiye’s current CEO, Jan Ptacek, has been appointed Vice President of Renault Light Commercial Vehicles as of July 1st, 2025. In his new position, Ptacek will be responsible for managing Renault’s global light commercial vehicle (LCV) strategy, focusing on product innovation, business performance, and market expansion.
Key priorities will include accelerating the growth of the Renault Master in Europe, overseeing the launch of the new-generation Trafic, Goelette, and Estafette in 2026, and expanding Renault’s LCV footprint in Latin America, Morocco, Turkey, and India as part of the brand’s International Growth Plan.
Ptacek will also manage Renault’s CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy) performance in Europe and serve as Chairman and Board Member of Flexis, the company’s joint venture in LCVs.
A graduate of the Czech Technical University, Ptacek also studied business in France. With over 30 years at Renault Group, he has held various senior roles in Czechia, France, Russia, Ukraine, and Romania. Between 2019 and 2022, he served as CEO of Renault Russia, and from 2023 to 2025, as CEO of Renault Group Türkiye.
